11 Brats...

The weekend is over and it seemed to go very slow. Ended up babysitting for 11 kids on Saturday all under the age of 5! Wow. My sister and I both were called in to go and the adults stayed upstairs and our job was to entertain the kids for 4 hours downstairs and make sure no one died. For the most part they all got along but when it rolled around 11:30 and 11 hyper kids still awake... things started to change and every little thing turned into a screaming cry. But we made not to bad money for it.
Spent Saturday night at my grandparents and some of the day today. Finally got a day to sleep in and catch up on my sleep.
Today was Samuels Birthday. Happy Birthday Darlin' . We went out to the farm and had a little party for him. Played musical pillows and got my arce kicked by a 7 year old. How sad.
Studied so hard for my math test in the past 2 days non stop to try and hopfully do good on this upcoming test tomorrow. Wish me luck.
One more week of school then christmas holidays. Couldnt be more excited. I need a break from things and people and homework...
I need to get outta Prince George for a while which is also happening very soon! How cool
Anyways..time for me to go and sleep
have a good week and a good day tomorrow

A lesson in life...

A Lesson in Life
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

Club season is just around the corner. Starting in a couple weeks, tryouts take place at CNC. Its only been 2 weeks and I already miss volleyball. All this extra time to kill is making me bored!

Happy Heart

Happy Heart
Tis being and doing and having that make All the pleasures and pains of whichmankind partake; To be what God pleases,To do a man's best, And to have a good heart, Is the way to be blest.

--Lord Byron

The all star game was kinda weird. We only ended up playing for like half an hour which kind of sucked but what can you do. I felt very young compared to most of the people there playing. They were much taller then me and it was kind of hard to fit in.
School is going Ok. Only 7 more days of school untill Christmas Holidays. I need a break from school and people. Ill need to catch up on a weeks worth of homework before I go on my trip to Mexico. Ill be missing one week of school. Geez... maybe a tutor should just follow me everywhere - wouldnt that be the day.
Been doing lots of scoring for basketball. Ive done about 5 games now. Decided since I wasnt going to play the sport, I may aswell keep envolved in it and make some money while im at it.
Did lots of baking on Sunday. That was fun, we made all sorts of goodies. Apperently the things I made are barely edable but acording to DJ, there the best ever. lol.
Went to a church ladies tea with my Aunty. She invited me over to her church where they held silent auctions, music, stories etc. I felt so young compared to everyone too...everyone else other than a few must have been in there 60's. I all of a sudden got a tickle in my throte while this lady was telling a story. Of corse I couldnt stop caughing so all of a sudden i feel something that had hit me. I look up and this elderly lady had thrown a Ricola or whatever there called (caugh candy). SHes like 80 and just whips a candy at me lol...how cute and thoughtful!
Well thats really all I have to say right now. At my grammas for dinner. Got some Christmas shopping done today and to tell you the truth, Im almost done. A couple more trips to make and it will be all good.
