Catching up...

Guess maybe I should write some stuff instead of posting pictures all the time. Not alot is happening though. Been doing some babysitting for a couple people now. So ive been keeping busy.
Had volleyball last night and we had a good practice. We have to do well in the tourny this weekend at CNC to have a good placing when we go to provincials and nationals. Wish us luck!!
School is going ok...a little stressful. We just got back and all the classes are throwing all these tests at us! Its pretty crazy...I need stop stop slacking and just take the time to study. Getting off the computer now would be a good start.
So im applying for camp this summer as an LIT. Just in the mids of filling out the paper work. Put alot of thought into it , if this is just the thing and the place I need to be this summer. I have so much I want to do and so many people too see.
Today I found out that they are still looking for people to go on the GERMAN exchange. I would absolutly love to do that!! So here I am, filling out MORE paper work all over again and hopfully I get my sheets in on time. Ahh Germany:S
Ive been driving pretty much everywhere now and feel 100% confident. Couple close calls because of other people poor driving skills but thats reality. Its kinda nice being 16.
My gramma has been doing not to bad. People and nurses are coming to see her now and get blood from her , check her oxygen, etc. She found out today that she needs a couple more blood transfusions. Her hemoglobin is very low!
Might go swimming tomorrow with a buddy of mine! how fun:) Other than that... nothing more is going on.

Ill keep you updated.

Institutionalized

It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time. This should help get you started.

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what criterion was used to define whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Would you like a bed near the window?"

Right now, the ball's in your court, so give it everything you've got.
Your sweetie is on the sidelines and is rooting you on toward success.
When you feel like you can't go on, let their encouragement
give you a second wind.

Right on hey? hmmm keep dreaming or do I follow the horoscope??

Liar written on your Face

You can always tell when someone is lying. It's always written all over their face... so why lie?

Your brain...

Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.

One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; one who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.

A good wife always knows her place

Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal ready, on time for his return. This is a way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospect of a good meal (especially his favourite dish) is part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He just been with a lot of work weary people.

Be a little more gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives.

Gather up school books, toys, paper, etc and then run a dust cloth over the tables.
Over the cooler months of the year, you should prepare and light a fire for him to unwind by. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for his comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

Prepare the children. Take a few minutes to wash the children's hands and faces (if they are small), comb their hair and, if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part. Minimize all noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of the washer, dryer or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet.

Be happy to see him.

Greet him with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please him.
Listen to him. You may have a dozen important things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first- remember, his topics of conversation are more important than yours.

Make the evening his. Never complain if he comes home late or goes out to dinner, or other places of entertainment without you. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and very real need to be at home and relax.

Your goal: Try to make sure your home is a place of peace, order and tranquility where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit.

Don't greet him with complaints and problems.

Don't complain if he's late home for dinner, or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through that day.

Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lay down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.

Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.
Don't ask him questions about his actions, or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have NO right to question him.

A good wife always knows her place.

Footsteps - Calling Joshua

Wait for me, I don't know where I am
Without you I am lost

Stay in me, without you I am scared
And your hand comforts my heart
How I fear for the worst
When I can't feel your touch
I need you by my side
And your footsteps and guiding me wherever I go
In springs fresh grass, fall leaves and in the winter snow
Yes your footsteps are guiding me wherever I go

Chorus:
And yes I choose to follow you
I won't fall back or slow down
Cause I feel your arms around me
And your footprints they surround me
And yes I choose to follow you
I won't fall back or slow down
Cause I feel your arms around me
And your footprints they surround me
Yeah

When I run and you're out of my sight
I busy my mind, convince myself I am fine
When I fall (when I fall) and realize I'm alone
You take me back as your own
Who am I to deserve to be held in your arms
Even after I betrayed
Your footsteps are guiding me wherever I go
In springs fresh grass, fall leaves and in the winter snow
Yes your footprints and guiding me wherever I go
Yeah
Chorus 2xI choose to follow you

Confusion...

How is one to live a moral and compassionate existence when one is fully aware of the blood, the horror inherent in life, when one finds darkness not only in one's culture but within oneself? If there is a stage at which an individual life becomes truly adult, it must be when one grasps the irony in its unfolding and accepts responsibility for a life lived in the midst of such paradox. One must live in the middle of contradiction, because if all contradiction were eliminated at once life would collapse. There are simply no answers to some of the great pressing questions. You continue to live them out, making your life a worthy expression of leaning into the light.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day
St. Patrick's Day is here, you see.
We'll pick some shamrocks,
one, two, three.
We'll count the leaves and look them over,
And maybe find a four-leafed clover.
I'll sew green buttons on my vest,
Green for St. Patrick is the best.
I'll wear a green hat, very high,
And dance a jig--
at least I'll try!

Precious one,
So small,
So sweet
Dancing in
on angel feet
Straight from Heaven's
brightest star
What a miracle
you are!

No one Listens - No one cares...

Sitting against the cold, cracked wall,
behind the bars, trying to escape.
Its clear in my mind that im alone.
No one listens - No one cares.

These words keep running through,
My fulfilled head of horrified thoughts.
Trying to freely explode.
Still, no one listens - No one cares.

My body filled with the chills,
and my head rested on my knees.
Continuing to hear my own words,
my own words repeading steadily.

Clear memories of hell so real,
Starting off the upcoming day.
Would I ever be happy again?
Would you ever listen? Would you ever care?

Today I sit against the warm , smooth wall,
happier than Ive ever been.
Its clear in my mind finaly,
That you want to listen - you finaly care.

Words finally poored out,
I shared my thoughts and feelings.
It gave me relief and a smile.
You wanted to listen - you wanted to care.

The Rose - Bette Midler

----------------------

Some say love it is a river
that drowns the tender reed
Some say love it is a razer
that leaves your soul to blead
----------------------
Some say love it is a hunger
an endless aching need
I say love it is a flower
and you it's only seed
----------------------
It's the heart afraid of breaking
that never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of wakingthat never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
who cannot seem to give
and the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live
----------------------
When the night has been too lonely
and the road has been too long
and you think that love is only
for the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winterfar beneath the bitter snows
lies the seed
that with the sun's love
in the spring
becomes the rose
