There are moments...

The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there.Things that have happened:1. Pro D day today so that means no school2.Volleyball practice yesturday3. Went to the icecream stand that finally opened4. Got mail 5.Doing well in school6. Got some good advice from a big sis:)7.Went on a movie date8. Did well on my socials test9. Finaly reading the Da Vinci Code10. Went out for dinner11. Visited my big sis at work12. Slept inAnd the list could keep going and going and going. If i look at all the bad things that have been happening and compare them to the ones above...the bad is outnumbered!!! It acts like a teeter totter Look at the other side of things and see the good through out them!
A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
