Rest In Peace <3

My cat ate it....

Today was an OK day...although I could be feeling much much better than I feel. Marie has been over for the past like week which has been awesome to have her. Babysat for two days and blew all my money away the day I received it.

I got a wicked wool sweater
Two pairs of pants
Two shirts
A bracelet Hemp Beads
And of corse, A slushie

Went to the lake today. Im brown, which is good. But now I have a weird tan line. The lake water is very warm for the early summer weather. I think I may have a bit of heat stroke as well. Tried fishing... key word TRIED. It was actualy rather funny... the hook kept getting stuck in the weeds. No nibbles accept for little minos. I come home fishless still. Never have I caught a fish I can keep.

Got a new car. Well my mom got a new car for both of us. Its a 2006 Epica fully loaded...leather seats...sunroof...heated seats for winter...automadic...power locks and temp control...outside temp control, etc. Its rather nice actually.

Went to church today and had a really good service.

I. "What in the World is God doing?"--Mathew 16:13-20
He is bringing situations into my (our) life to invite me (you) to allow jesus to be for me (you) in my (our) life.

II. What is God's Primary Agenda? --Mathew 16:18-20
"Church" = Ekklesia

"Church"= "Called out one's"

In my relationship with God there are 4 "stages":

What in the world is church all about anyways?

Thats what I learned in todays church service.

Had a BBQ at my moms friends today too.

Andrew says its Icecream day tomorrow.

Rest in peace sweet amazing Geneveive. Today was the funeral for 15 year old Geneveive Klosser. She had an amazing heart, a outstanding personality, was loved by hundreds of people, had a faithful heart and loved to serve for God. We all know she is in heaven with the Big Guy. May your heart be at rest.

Goodnight All,

Boss Jr.

Thought of life...

Wow. You know, its amazing that so many people come in and out of your life expectadly. Does every person come into your life for a reason? Why do some come and go so quickly? Why do they have to go? Its amazing how quickly someone can change your view on life, people, things, and situations you might be going through. Even sometimes the slightest bit of advice helps you move along throughout your day. Personaly, I have been doing alot of thinking about life, and certain situations, and I've seem to been getting alot of different perspectives.
I was walking to the park the other day and saw a mom and a dad with their 3 kids playing basketball and that game where they throw the ball and you catch it with the little hand pad and it sticks to the velcro. The kids were laughing and smiling ear to ear... the parents look as though they were having an amazing time together and giving their children so much joy and happiness. As for myself having divorced parents...its a differnt kind of fun, happiness, laughter that I go through. Sometimes its hard to walk by and see such happy moments in life like that happen and realize that you ( Me) may never get that again... know Ill never get that again. Most of my friends parents are together and its just very different being around a couple along with just the environment. Life seems so great. Smiling. Laughter. Fun. But is there really such thing as a happy family? Is there such thing as a family with no problems, no griefs, no worries?

It can be so amazing how each individual person/friend/familiy member etc. can make such a huge impact on your life. Even if you dont know the person that well. Each person fills that special place of your heart that "no one else can ever replace again". Even if they come in and out of your life so quickly. Everyone has their own perspective, morals, ways of life, stability, personalities etc. Every one is unique. Different. A gift. Every person plays a differnt role in your life. No one can fill it.

School is out. One exam on the 28th. Going out to camp on the 30 and coming home on the 22 of July... going to see my dad in all of Aug. Its a busy summer. For those of you that know what camp im going too...please write me letters!!!!!

Thats all the news to report. Me and my thinking *rolls eyes*
Good nite.

A poem...

As time goes by
I see u there
In my minds eye
I see you glare

Forever frozen motionless
I will return your stare
With a look of sadness
Witch I am forced to bear

With but one mistake
I will forever lose
The one who made me quake
And shake…in my space shoes

I tell you I will always care
And will always regret
That it was I who shed the glare
And will always be in your dept

Without u I think I might die
But never the less I proceed
With but a tear in my eye
Thinking of you with greed

As time passes by
I still see you there clear as wine
Always in my minds eye
Forever wishing that you were still mine…

-- My friend

I thought we could be great
And it is hard to face my mistake
But I pushed to fast and hard
And toppled the pyramid of cards

Witch was our relationship
And also our friendship
It would be easy to lay blame
But for the fact that it is all mine to claim

As we grow further apart
It seems to break my heart
As we begin to separate
I cant help but hate

The fact that we didn’t work out
And I just want to shout
To scream and rage
Against this cage

That encloses my emotions
And this sensation
That to part with you
Would be to lose

A part of myself
That I have kept on the shelf
To protect from those
Who would toss it in the compost

I realize there is not much I can do
Save tell u I care about you
And hope to god that it is enough
Because living without you would be tough

I will always remember the times we had
Even when we were altogether sad
And Even if without a relationship
We always had our friendship

But even now that is in jeopardy
And each word may be our last in this parody
Each moment without you is like living hell
And it seems like I am but an empty shell
-- my friend again

All about bananas...

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.
Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.
PMS: Forget the pills - eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.
Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.
Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.
Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.
Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.
Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.
Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness
Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.
Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.
Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.
Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.
Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand, for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.
Smoking & Tobacco Use: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.
Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.
Strokes: According to research in "The New England Journal of Medicine, 'eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!
Warts: Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of banana skin and place it on the wart, with the yellow side out. Carefully hold the skin in place with a plaster or surgical tape!
So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrate, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"

Theres a Hippo in my fridge

Its been a while since I have updated this thing.

Going to Mount Robson this Friday. Just in the midst of getting everything together. It should be lots of fun and im very excited to go through the whole hiking experience with some amazing people that I don't even really know.

Went to church today. Saw a few ness lake friends of mine. Marina and Janet, it was great to see you both, congrats on graduation:). Gerren, thanks for sitting by me in church and Matt thanks for inviting me -- well you know what I mean. It was great to see the rest of you too!

So I was thinking again today... yes thats twice this week and here is what I came up with. My duck is still missing and its sad. Ive searched and searched and searched -- still no where to be found. Poor Oscar. Ive even looked under the dock where I once found myself being pushed in while searching for a lost bolt. Nope... not there. Andrew, I hope you are having fun with my duck and its still alive and happy.

Ducks are STRANGE animals
The way they SQUAT and SQUABBLE
Sometimes they talk to you as if you understand what they are SAYING
Don't hunt ducks if it is rainy;
Don't hunt ducks or be called zany;
Don't hunt ducks if you are brainy;
Don't hunt ducks with Richard Cheney.

That all I have to say about ducks... today

Jr Prom was lots of fun. Ill post some of my favorite pictures. After prom, Deanna, Kirstyn, Melissa and I went to Boston pizza for the best desert ever... and the nachos.

Dawn - Hope you are doing well... its been a while since Ive talked to you. You must be busy.

DDT was extensively used in the past for the control of insects (crop protection and disease control). In 1972 its use was banned in the United States, except in the case of a public health emergency.
